How The Standby Plug Works

Simply plug your electric appliance into the standby plug socket, then plug it into a wall socket.

Switch on the appliance and use it in the usual way. The device will have set itself up after 5 minutes of use.

When you have finished, switch the appliance to standby as normal. The device automatically cuts off the power after two minutes.

To switch your appliance back on, simply press the reset button on the Standby socket.

You can use the Standby device with multiple plug sockets, but note that all connected appliances will be turned off when the Standby Plug activates.
